Automate wall switches with powerline protocol

Hello,
I would like to automate the wall switches of my house.

I do not intend to replace the current non-smart switches, so I plan on installing a smart device inside the wall box of each switch.

If possible I would like to use a powerline protocol (network over power cables).
I know that the Insteon micro on-off module would be a perfect fit, but given the recent shenanigans with the bankruptcy, I am a bit cautious.

What do you suggest? Should I stick with Insteon? Is there another alternative? Or it would be much easier to just use a wireless device such as the Shelly ones.

PS I am based on Japan.

I am aware of this thread recommending Insteon but it is dated before the company bankruptcy:

Let me rephrase: what do you think of the new Insteon company?
