You need to be a trust level ‘member’ to edit a post. Understanding Discourse Trust Levels
It’s not something that can be given. You need to do the needed to up the level to Member.
This change was a result of spam attacks.
I thought I had already reached this level, but it seems to not be the case…
So… I’ll have to post random messages in other topics, just to edit my own message ?

It is a level that has some timed elements in it.
It most likely requires reading posts.
I have spent 48h reading posts, I think that’s enough
I usually read but don’t talk too much, I think this is the issue here
