Okay, now this works thank to “MQTT Explorer” i was able to get the entity names, but a lot of stuff is missing, what i’m doing wrong here?
sure!
mqtt_broker_ip: HA IP EG. 192.168.1.2
mqtt_username: mqtt_user
mqtt_password: mqtt_password
panel_id: SERIAL OF BENTEL
pin: "PIN TO ENTER VIA APP OR AS TECH (DEFAULT IS 1803)"
panel_ip_address: IP BENTEL EG. 192.168.1.17
I thank you for the wonderful work on this add-on.
I managed to install the add-on, but on HA, I only find “Bentel Absoluta Local Update” under devices and/or entities.
I don’t understand how to view sensors and other features of my alarm. I remember that HA is new to me. I’ve been using it for a few months and have already integrated all the lights in my house and other devices. I installed and configured the Bentel Absoluta control panel myself. It works perfectly with both the Boss and the app.
I tried using the APP Panel Control for testing, but I can’t figure out what to enter in the Username and Password fields.
hi
Fabio
Can someone help me?
Thank you
Fabio
Sure, what you need to know? The sensor are available using developer toppa Places on the left sidebar
I’m sorry, but I didn’t understand how to do it.
I go to the left on the developer tools on the left sidebar. And then?
thank you
@febpro in the logs of the addon you will see a message like that:

after that, go to developer tools, state and you will see them as binary sensor
Hi,
I got sensor and partition, I can view the state of sensor and if a partion is armed or not, but I can’t manage them, if I try to arm or disarm a zone , nothing happens… someone can explain why ?
I also have this problem. It seems stuck, the non local addon works without a problem.
hello,
I am trying to install the version 1.1 on an intel minipc that runs HAOS on proxmox, but I get an error while installing “unknown error, check the supervisor logs”, but the only related log that I get from the supervisor is “23-08-28 10:59:15 INFO (MainThread) [supervisor.docker.addon] Starting build for local/amd64-addon-absolutalocal:1.1”
what is wrong then?
thanks in advance.
Where can I find non local addon ?
ok, got it working, even if there are some java exceptions in the log, so can you confirm that this addon works only if there is not another app connected to the alarm? for example it is not possible to use this addon and mobile app together?
Check the message n59 (by nicomedia) and the n95 (by AlessandroTischer)
Hi and congratulations for your amazing work.
I’m also a developer (.NET, AngularJS, …) and I’m trying to better understand the SIA event generated by Bentel Absoluta. I developed a simple UDP receiver in order to get the packages of events but is impossibile without any protocols specification make progress.
I was only able to highlight from this package the Fibro customer code and DNIS code. nothing else regarding sensors.
Bentel says on Manual: SIA Event over FIBRO. But anyone know what FIBRO really is? I’m not an expert in alarm systems so I’m supposing is a private protocol or something similar.
I would like to make my contribution on this,
Greetings
Manuel
@manu89padovani reading this patent “US8963713B2 - Integrated security network with security alarm signaling system - Google Patents” US8963713B2 - Integrated security network with security alarm signaling system - Google Patents FIBRO protocol is the commercial name of SIA DC-10. I think that HA integration supports SIA DC-09.
Hi @lcavalli , thank you very much.
That was all I found too. Unfortunately there are no docs over internet for either DC-10 or FIBRO and this article does not provide me any helpful information I’m afraid.
we can consider the integration as dead so?
i think so…
i’m migrating to Risco lightsys + that has a solid integration
For testing, I already had the integration working. I have an absolute bentel. I didn’t write down the procedures, now I want to use the integration and I don’t understand what I have to do. Is there any script?
After reading this post to the end, it seems to me that integration no longer works, is it dead? Or does being dead mean it hasn’t evolved?
I would appreciate some clarification and help.
Hi everyone, does the integration still work?
