I have a very simple problem… Live camera feeds do not play automatically in the HA Android Companion app.
When I tap on the camera in my Lovelace dashboard in the app, I am presented with a paused stream and need to tap on the play symbol to view the image.
Is there a way to remove the extra step and have the camera feed play automatically when opened from the frontend?

On iOS Low power mode will prevent them from playing automatically… can’t tell for sure what type of device you are on but if android you may want check battery/power save settings but on iOS low power mode will absolutely prevent them from playing
Try this way:
I will try not to use the preload stream option since it seems to add unnecessary delay on the stream.
