Can I use home assistant with an existing Qolsys iq panel (with IQ mini door sensors) to send text or email when triggered?

I used to use brinks home security and I still have all my hardware from that.
Qolsys IQ Panel (https://qolsys.com/iq-panel/)
and a bunch of IQ Mini door sensors (https://qolsys.com/iq-dw-mini/)

Can I use home assistant to arm/disarm that panel and those devices and have an email or text go out if the door sensors are triggered? Without using the brinks service.

Qolsys IQ Panel 2 and 3rd party integration
