Can´t get Homematic Addon working

Hello.

I can´t get the Homematic Addon to work.

When i start the addon it gives me some Errors and Fatal Errors.

How to reflash HM-MOD-RPI-PCB firmware from within HassOS.md

# Instructions 
This will guide you how to flash the homematic uart modules firmware within hassos.

1. Install the Terminal addon in Hassio and start it in privileged mode
2. Check homematic addon is stopped!
3. Copy above Dockerfile to /root of hassos
4. run following commands to update the firmware

and this is the last post I did in the GIST, before I made the call to move over to the discussion on the community forum.

I got a little further, after digging into some documentation.

This is what I added to config.txt

enable_uart=1
dtoverlay=pi3-miniuart-bt
dtoverlay=uart1
dtoverlay=disable-bt

Now the bluetooth interface seems to be disabled and the module can be addressed using /dev/ttyAMA0 the previous was with only this lines

There was an update for Home Assistant OS and the Homematic Addon.

So now its Home Assistant OS 5.11 and Homematic Addon 11.1.0 for me.

Now i can´t even save the default configuration for the Homematic Addon, what the heck?

I´ve added dtoverlay=uart1 and dtoverlay=disable-bt to my config.txt from above.

works for me, but you need to be very specific about the spaces used and increments and I figured out, because there is no ttyUSB0 interface it throws an error. I tried to use ttyS0and ttyAMA0 and both setting allowed me to save the configuration.

The “base settings” seem to work now. Great!

The Addon Log also looks good so far

I just need to test if “all” settings from every device works well, but i guess it will.

Already added some devices.

But there are still some “little” issues:

When i try to open up the “general settings” tab, the UI turns gray and it throws me some errors in the Addon Log
When i click on the “new firmware available” Hyperlink on the UI, the screen also turns gray and nothing happens.

Well thats a good question. The WebUI loaded up in some seconds for me.

Do you tried another browser maybe? I´m using Google Chrome (newest version of course) and i´m having no loading issues so far.

I disabled the ingress support for the plugin and configured a port. This works now, so ingress seems to be broken but with a port directly accessing the add-on it works

Sorry was quite busy for some time
I also have this issue now, however it looks like the Javascript that runs in the browser when opening homematic page is just super slow. After a minute the occu web interface loads fine with ingress and one can use it normally. Kind of strange

To get to the original thing wih the Coprocessor firmware jens-maus commented on my docu PR stating that the firmware is not a speacial one, it is a newer one witch supports HM-IP (dualcopro_si1002_update_blhm.eq3)

So yea i may try out this occu firmware for the uart module, i suspoect our plugin does not really work with that version and thats why wen i plug in the module on a raspberry matic it wont work anymore one the homematic plugin until i flash the coprocessor_update.eq3

So maybe we find out why the newer one does not work and get it to work, that would be cool

Honestly, this is too much tinkering for something which should be stable.
I put my energy (and hope) into the RaspberryMatic Addon which Jens is working on

This is going be the only stable and future proof implementation.
