Home Assistant Cloud (Nabu Casa) in Settings won't go away after removal from configuration.xml

Hello all. I recently tried the 1 month trial of Home Assistant Cloud but decided it’s not for me. I have removed the cloud: entry and restarted HA several times but it is still there. I have not been using default_config: for many years. Still, I searched all of my config files for both of those and they aren’t found anywhere. I have also tried the Reset cloud data option in the Home Assistant Cloud Settings panel, which does nothing. Is there something else I’m missing? Why won’t it go away? …

How can I disable the cloud component?

I think there should be a customization doc for semi-new users listing all these “secret handshakes”
