Hey there, I am trying to remove a Button that I added as a helper (accidentally, I meant to use a Toggle). Unfortunately, I cannot find out how to do this. If I click the entity, there is no Delete button or the like:
and when I click on the cog wheel at the top right, I just get an empty dialog:
How do I remove this entity/helper?
Click the Settings icon and you should have a red Delete link in the lower left corner.
I am experiencing the same issue as [madduck]. When I click the gear icon an empty window is shows just with the title of the helper. Could this be an issue of most recent HA version(s).
It worked before as shown by [koying]
I am running version 2023.8.1.
Just tried to make a screencast but then it worked. Must have been a temporary hickup I assume.
As I wrote in the original post, if I click the cog wheel, I get an empty dialog.
The issue still exists here.

have the same issue with a button helper: all other helpers are displaying when clicking on the settings icon…
I have the same problem i think with an light helper. The Helper has no Entiti_id and i can’t edit it anymore or delete it.

I had the same issue. After I refreshed the browser page I saw the “Delete” option.
you mean reload the page? or what is refreshing a the browser? anyway, I’ve tried reloading and other browsers and no luck…
