Strange, because the fe80 gateway should not be a valid one.
I would expect to see one starting with 2600 instead.
I found the issue. In my router, there is a page, which I found you can scroll right and left, and a setting to block internet access, but not intranet access. I was about to wipe and start from scratch, but couldn’t even get ubuntu on it, I taught it was the network card, but checked the router page from my phone and found that the page scrolled left and right.
Glad you found the solution, but what router is this? For future reference that would be nice to add.
