CLI Update to specific supervisor?

Trying to resolve | issues, I’ve been advised to login to the supervisor and do a ‘ha supervisor update’ but the supervisor thinks it’s on the most recent update, 2021.01.7, when I’m fairly sure 2021.02.5 exists and was released yesterday.

Anyway to force this update?!

Thanks

That version is still in beta testing.

If you really want it you can use the command line to update.

I kept reading this thread and trying to figure out why you guys were saying that the latest version was 2021.1.7 when obviously the latest version is 2021.2.1.

then I realized you were talking about the supervisor. :man_facepalming:

The versioning schema they picked really sucks to keep things straight.

Terminology too (HA, Core, Hass, Hassio etc)

HA - an abbreviation for Home Assistant.

Core - the Home Assistant software ‘core’ that all installation types include, but also if run in a Python Virtual environment, the name of an installation method, ‘Home Assistant Core’.

Hass - another abbreviation for Home Assistant .

Hassio - what the installation method ‘Home Assistant OS’ was called a year ago. Now defunct.
