Hi All!
I installed a 5 amp 120V AC fan and I currently use it by plugging it into the wall. I would like to adjust this though so that it is controlled via HA. Does anyone have any suggestions for a part that I could use to give me a variable control on the current?
Thanks!

Hi, any solar router system will do the job.
Just don’t use the zero return function.

AC fan
Is this a variable speed fan? AC is VERY different from DC when it comes to changing the speed of motors.
See VFDs:
A variable-frequency drive (VFD, or adjustable-frequency drive, adjustable-speed drive, variable-speed drive, AC drive, micro drive, inverter drive, variable voltage variable frequency drive, or drive) is a type of AC motor drive (system incorporating a motor) that controls speed and torque by varying the frequency of the input electricity. Depending on its topology, it controls the associated voltage or current variation.
VFDs are used in applications ranging from small appliances to large co...
