No, I intend to keep this as a custom integration. As a custom integration I can push out bug fixes, new features, betas, etc. immediately to users - any changes made to core integrations have to wait to be bundled into the next minor or major Home Assistant update.
Awesome. Iâm ordering one as well so let me know if you need any additional testing done. Thanks!
Just a bit of feedback here. I added the new bridge to my network today and migrated my 2 gateway pucks to sensors, and added a new vent. All are visible from HA and appear to be working great.
Hoping someone can shed light on where I can look to troubleshoot why mine isnât working? The Flair download appears to be working correctly, and when I click on + Add Integration, the flair repository shows up in a search.
When I click on add integration, it brings up a window to enter the OAuth 2.0 client_id and client_secret information. I have received those from Flair directly but when I click on Submit I get an error message stating âUnable to connectâ. The unit is working just fine from the Flair app so Iâm at a little bit of a loss here.

Hi, I tried adding the integration after adding it in HACS.
I added the Client ID/Secret and get this error: No structures discovered
Any help would be appreciated.
Have you set up a Flair structure via the Flair mobile app and added all of your devices there?
I added the Bridge and 4 Smart Vents. and connected EcoBee. The EcoBee Smart Sensors not yet. Could be this is the reason ?
Nope. As long as you set up a structure within the Flair app, the integration will pull in any Flair devices that are setup within that Flair âstructureâ.
Can you provide a screenshot of the main page within the Flair mobile app?
Not having ecobee sensors shouldnât be preventing you from setting up the Home - some users have just a bridge (or puck) + vent(s) and then use home assistant to automate manual control of the Flair vents using temperature sensors they have integrated within Home Assistant (from brands/types that Flair doesnât directly support themselves in their app/platform).
You should click on âResume Setupâ in the first screenshot you shared so that you can finish setting up the Flair âstructureâ (what they call Home in the app, but structure in their API responses).
Any way we can get the set temperature in the puck from Home Assistant?
Hi, Iâm testing a Flair system, waiting for the bridge to be delivered. Will the Flair structure and HA integration work without internet connection? I know you need to log in initially and authenticate but does it work offline after that?
Or will the whole system stop working (stay open in the case of power outage) if I lose internet?
Since pucks are associated with rooms, the set-point for the climate entity for the room (that the puck is associated with) should reflect what temp the puck is set to.
It does not work offline. The Flair cloud API is polled every 30 seconds so an active internet connection is required to both control devices and to also get up-to-date states.
Hello Robert. I just set up my HAOS and your Flair is an amazon add-on for HA. I am curious that about the is there any chance to change this:
Room Climate Temperature set points can be changed on a room by room basis. Changing HVAC mode for a room propagates that change to all rooms as the HVAC mode is set at the Structure level. Note: By default, this entity is disabled if Flair system mode is set to manual.
I would like to see if there is any easy approach me to change the active/away of that room instead of change the HVAC mode of the system. I was try to play it in HAOS but the best I could do is creating a virtual switch I could import in HK to control active/away as on/off. I would like to have only one item import in to HK for each room to reduce the complex of HK. and that item will look like the one in website of my.flair.com. Upper is temperature, lower part is away/active.
I really appreciate your time and help. Thank you very much.
You should have a select entity for each room named âActivity statusâ. You can use each one of these instead of the HVAC mode to set a room to active or inactive. Iâm not sure, off of the top of my head, how select entities translate into HomeKit, but give it a try.
If you prefer more of an on/off type of switch then creating a template switch for each room that sets the select entity to active (when switch is on) or inactive (when switch is off) is another way to go about it.
I use climate template to create it.
Thanks a lot
