Custom consumptions for energy dashboard (wood pellets, water, oil...)

Hi Guys,

as the Energy Dashboard is a very nice thing to display and analyze energy consumption it would be nice to introduce something like “custom consumptions”.

Like for example the Gas consumption is something which is more related to urban areas rather than country side it would be nice to set custom energy names and units like “wood pellets [kg/pound]”. It also would give us the possibility to create consumptions for water [liter/gallon], oil [liter/gallon] and anything else which comes to your mind.

I think this would be an excellent addition. I have a wood pellet furnace and I wrote an integration to HA so it would be plug-and-play https://github.com/KristianOellegaard/homeassistant-stokercloud :slight_smile:
