Custom Header

Same issue reported here

The update from a few minutes ago seems to have solved it!

@DavidFW1960
I canā€™t get v1.2.1 to update to v1.3.1 to install at all.

I have tried uninstall, restart, clear cache, install.
But it will only install 1.2.1

Is that the order you had success with?

Iā€™m getting this error, which I suspect maybe something Iā€™ve added, but Iā€™ve moved back two days on snapshots and the error still occurs, Iā€™m pretty sure it didnā€™t, so not sure what the trigger is.

Anyone have any ideas?

Seems like a reboot (not sure that was needed) but closing all open browser sessions (of which there were many) has solved the problem.

Spoke too soon, they are back again

If I restart ha after updating the card, when I restart HACS then reinstalls the card correctly. I do need to clear cache though before it works. This is a HACS bug which will be fixed soon.

Make sure youā€™re using the latest release 1.3.2 and that any open browser tabs or other devices have been refreshed after updating.

Thanks for the advice

Did that help or are you still receiving a TypeError?

I think they are all gone now. There was one yesterday, but I suspect may have still had an open session on my phone browserā€¦,

Iā€™ll let you know if I see it again.

Thanks again

I would like to ask for help with Custom Header. I installed it through HACS and now when I click Run plugin I have this error.

Thatā€™s not an error, thatā€™s just a screenshot of the js file and where are you clicking ā€œRun pluginā€? Thatā€™s not really a thing. Iā€™m very confusedā€¦

Iā€™m sending a picture. Maybe I donā€™t understand how to use this add-on.

Yeah, you donā€™t need to hit that.

Youā€™ve already installed it and as long as you added it to lovelace it should already be active.

Read through the docs, but to get started you can configure custom header by selecting itā€™s settings while in a lovelace view:

Can you please send me a picture of where and what to add to Lovelace?
Thank you very much .

Nope, but you can read the docs.

HACS should have asked you to ā€œAdd to Lovelaceā€

If you didnā€™t get that then my hint would be to go into the menu from the screenshot above and select ā€œConfigure UIā€ then ā€œRaw config editorā€. The code to enter is in the installation section of the docs
