deCONZ - Official thread

Anybody had good success with the Fyrtur IKEA blinds? I swear I’ve never run into a more frustrating device to pair. After many many attempts over the past few days to get the paired to Deconz I finally managed to do it. Only for this morning to wake up to find that 1 of them would no longer respond to up/down commands (but WOULD update status in terms of max open/close and position) and the other wouldn’t respond at all (and disappeared entirely after rebooting Deconz).

About to throw in the towel with these things or just get a Tradfri gateway. I’ve read a bunch of posts and can’t seem to find a good solution, hoping there’s something I’ve missed!

You need to specify env variabel to tell deconz what websocket port it is exposing. Check docker documentation for exact instructions

Well the varibable say WS port is 443. And i have maped 443 in docker to 8443. SO the port should be exposed.
Do i need to put 8443 somewhere in home assistant then?

That means deconz tells hass to connect on 443 whereas is available on 8443. Wsport to 8443

Alright, so if i change the varible to 8443 and the port assignment for the continer to 8443<->8443 then it should work?

The port assignment should be correct

NOW it works! MANY thanks Robban!

Just updated to 6.10 without issues. Looking forward to check if the Wiser products are now supported.

Thank you for the Deconz update nevertheless

Hello, I am new to deconz. Just switched from z2mqtt with CC2531 to a Conbee II. The CC2531 died and I wanted something more reliable.

My first question, is it possible to connect a enddevice to a specific router? Or is the network smart enough to decide which is the best? I have one device which is connect directly to the coordinator, but there is a repeater just one room away…

With next release of Home Assistant 2021.9 I have refactored the alarm control panel support to reflecting the finalized implementation which is available in deCONZ v2.12. Though the change actually needs deCONZ v2.13 due to a small change on how to retrieve data on alarm systems in deCONZ.

Hi guys since the new update I can’t go to the sensors page. I get the weberror “ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE”. Can you help me?

Hello, everyone,

Maybe one of you can help me?

My Deconz network has been causing problems for some time. Meanwhile, some Osram sockets switch on and off independently.

I also noticed that the status in the overview always jumps back and forth every few seconds from in network to not in network.

does anyone know the problem?

Thank you.

Has anybody reported this?

21-09-02 08:42:54 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.addons.validate] Add-on config 'snapshot_exclude' is deprecated, 'backup_exclude' should be used instead. Please report this to the maintainer of deCONZ

Shall I open an issue on GitHub?

Yes on the addon repository

Done. See Issue #2171 · home-assistant/addons (github.com)](HA Subervicor reports a warning · Issue #2171 · home-assistant/addons · GitHub)

I guess Frenck or other addon maintainers will look at it

What steps would it require to migrate from the home-assistant deconz addon → standalone deconz on dedicated raspberry-pi (using this)?

Create backup and load backup
