seems, i had to wait a few hours , they are now visible
i remember this was not the case with older versions, upon restartting the addon, the lines were almost instantly visible, no need to rearrange them ![]()
Hi there
First of all, a huge thanks for providing this integration, it is much appreciated.
A quick question.
I have been using deConz for quite some time, first in openHAB and now HA, and everything is awesome.
I just updated to the latest Phoscon app 2.28.1 where I am now able to see which information is available through the REST API. In there, I see information about “lastseen”: “2024-10-06T09:21Z”. If I go to the developer section and look at the states for devices I do not see that piece of information.
I also have a lot of z-wave devices where that information is available in the Diagnostics section on the device it self.
Would it be possible to add that information to the Zigbee devices in HA?
What I would like to achieve is that if a device does not check in for a given time, then notify me such that I can check out if the battery died, it lost connection, or was damaged and needs to be replaced. I already have a blueprint for sending me information about battery level, but it does not cover all scenarios.
Let me know if it makes sense, or if am just missing the place to look.
Best regards

Hi all,
For some reason all my temperature/humidity sensors stopped working a couple of days ago. There are 2 Sonoff (eWeLink TH01) and 1 Aqara (LUMI) sensors and they all seem to have stopped updating around 16:00 on 27th Oct.
What’s strange is the only thing that changed then was i added 2 new smoke alarms, both frient (1 SMSZB-120 & 1 HESZB-120). The temperature reading from the SMSZB-120 has also not updated since it was added. The temperature from the HESZB-120 is updating.
Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions appreciated!
So, after some searching I tried restarting deconz. That didn’t work, but completely rebooting HA seems to have resolved the issue.
Same over here.
I suddenly lost status from most of my sensors (Aqara contact/motion sensors mainly) a couple days ago and the Deconz UI wouldn’t show any changes (version 2.28.1) ![]()
I tried to “Restart Home Assistant” like I usually do after the installation/update of some add-ons, reloaded the Deconz integration but it didn’t change a thing…
I had to choose “Reboot system” and sensors are reporting again ![]()
Anyone with a fresh idea why the deConz integraion cannot turn off the Sonoff TRVZB - it always bounces back to HEAT? ![]()
The Sonoff TRV joins the network fine, then appears as a climate entity alright. The problem is that the climate.turn_off (hvac_mode: off) never takes effect - it briefly shows as off and then bounces back to “heat”. I’m guessing it’s an addon problem, because if i open the deconz app, go to the ‘thermostat’ cluster, change the “system mode” to OFF and then WRITE - now it will stick and the thermostat shows in HA as OFF. Clearly there’s nothing wrong on deconz’s end. Seems like it’s not sending/writing the command properly to the zigbee cluster.
this could possibly be a bug, I would like to see a debug log from home assistant where you are performing said steps
Doing an action that after some time bounces back means there is no new data on websocket (which typically means the web socket is not running), but as you say it didn’t change state on deconz side either so it might be the off-command being “bad” in the integration
@Robban , thanks for chiming in! Here’s the debug log entry that is related to setting it back up to “heat” mode. How do I figure out what actually triggers this event to begin with? This is not supposed to be triggered at all…
2024-12-10 13:33:23.894 DEBUG (MainThread) [pydeconz.websocket] {"config":{"battery":89,"heatsetpoint":700,"mode":"heat","offset":0,"on":true,"reachable":true},"e":"changed","id":"63","r":"sensors","t":"event","uniqueid":"44:e2:f8:ff:fe:10:6f:54-01-0201"}
Anyone got the new aqara smoke detector SD-S01E paired with conbee 3?
Not sure when this happened, it was in the past few days, but my light groups went from a brightness/color slider to a simple on/off, is there any way to switch it back?
Sorry i have missed your reply. Can you provide a full debug log with you performing the action. Its not just the command itself but what happens in the response and later on as well.
There is no information about who perform the action on websocket so I wouldnt know
Hi, I have just get also an Aqara SD-S01E, it seem that I couldn’t pairing using zigbee2mqtt and coordinator “zStack3x0” ( SONOFF Zigbee 3.0)
I got it paired with my conbee3 and used a custom ddf! It pairs very fast, at first i thought it didnt pair but it did and only saw it afterwards! Its nearly the same model as the JY-GZ-01AQ!
hi ,
do it still works , mine stop worked after 1 day ( I tryed with conbee 2 and 3)
I switched back to 2.5.3
No
But I would be interested to find out when it will.
Also still haven’t upgraded to 7.0.0.
Any news on any further updates?
As you can see 2 posts over yours i got it already paired! Very easy, you dont see it only on the vnc overview (not in the phoscon app)! You need to install a custom ddf!
Apologies what do you mean by a custom DD?
DDF for Device Description Files
https://dresden-elektronik.github.io/deconz-dev-doc/modules/ddf/
Thanks
Seems beyond my skillset
Hi, can you link the DDF you used?
I tryed one on github but the device (Aqara SD-S01E) is not working as expected.
thank you.
