yes, but there is a bigger problem. The Sensors shows available but they are not working too. The Phoscon app shows the stick “not connected” also on VNC the stick is not connected…
You can open up direct access by assigning the port in the add-on network settings.
Anything useful in the logs? Sounds weird, but try re-plugging the stick (preferable with a reboot in between).
- Check that the USB port of the stick is correct, I had in the past a problem that the RPI power supply wasn’t suppling 2.5A and caused the USB to disconnect and enumerate itself to a new USB port.
- If you use “serial/by-id” try to change it to the USB port (“/dev/ttyACM0”) - On my machine using “serial/by-id” with Deconz will only work 1 out of 4 restarts.
- Check the logs and if you find something interesting there post it here.
The Log only shows, the Stick is not connected.
I replugged and restarted multiple times and now it starts working again. The update restored the Addon Settings (Port and VNC password) to default.
Strange. Maybe not a Problem with the update. But I never had problems before.
@thecode
I’m running HA on an Latte Panda Alpha (similar to intel NUC) So Power cannt be the problem. Also I never had any issues before. The USB port was resetted to default after the update to deconz 5.0 so I controlled the correct port twice.
Now its working again.
Thanks for all the great work and help. Happy Christmas!!
Am I the only one using Safari on Mac? Or am I the only one facing issue with ingress… Basically I can use all of the phoscon features, but the gateway info page (Settings -> Gatewaqy). It displays empty page with no information about conbee status, firmware etc. This is strictly Safari related (based on my limited tests), since I can access it from Chrome without issues. Obviously it also affects iOS Companion App, since it uses Safari engine as well… Could it be related to performance issues with Safri (large resources usage), or some other browser incompatibility?
No, you are not the only one. It is that single page that breaks on Safari. Luckily, it is not the most important/most used page. (Just wondering, why would you even look at that page on your mobile ).
Will be looking into this, but at first glance, I failed to see an obvious reason.
@Frenck, indeed, no real reson for this, but I just tested to see if it behavies similarly to other issues I face with Safari (message bar in Safari with warning about large resources usage). It is causing HA pages to be frequently reloaded (especially Developers Tools -> States or when working with configuration in Lovelace). So since these are pages I sometimes look, it is annoing in Companion App. Even if it works, it is very slow comparing to other browsers…
It is not deal breaker, as in ‘critical’ situation it is always possible to switch browser, though…
Thank you, but I can see only VNC setting:
EDIT: Reinstalling the DeconZ solve the issue!
For those who also doesn’t see the ports after upgrade, just press the “RESET TO DEFAULTS” and it will re-add the ports. No need to reinstall the addon.
@frenck great job, all devices are working for me, really appreciate all the work you have done. Also, love your youtube channel keep up all the great work. have a merry Christmas.
Just updated to 5.0 with 0.103.4.
Everything works fine.
Thanks!
I can confirm it works. Some entities had different names compared to before. Binary sensors i mean.
Had to change that all over the place in my scripts, automations, floorplans and lovelace cards etc.
After an hour or two, I managed to get it all working. Thank you so much @frenck happy xmas!
Why not change the entity itself to the name like it was before? Less work then
The new names are the names i once changed it to in deconz, so it makes more sense. So was not an annoying thing
This is much better, but it’s a shame that deconz dosesn’t recognise the various sensors in multi sensors. For example I have their thermometer sensor. It also has pressure and humidity sensors. But deconz just calls the three sensors porch_sensor_1, porch_sensor_2, porch_sensor_3. Those ones still need renaming in home assistant.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Hi! I have two HA instances in my setup of which my main version on a server/docker and the second one (Hassio) on a RPI. I have use the second (RPI) only as deconz/Conbee GW and have that integrated into my main HA (need two setups due to distances). Since the recent updates I failed to integrate the Deconz GW on the RPI to the other HA. I’m running Dezonz add-on v5.0 and HA version 103.4 on both hardwares. The deconz add-on is discovered within the same HA/RPI (hassio eco system) but is not recognized/identified by the main HA, running on a different hardware and subnet from the conbee/RPI. This used to work flawless and no other changes have been made during this time. Could you point in the right diretion on how to solve this?
Thank you and truly appreciate this add-on!

Hi all,
having a few issues and hoping one of you may be able to help me. i’m trying to add my devices to my conbee 2 stick (after a lot of messing about i finally got it working) but I am having trouble adding my ikea sockets https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/tradfri-wireless-control-outlet-00364477/ to the stick to be controlled by HA
is there a way to do this?
thank you for your help.
edit:
Sorry I should probably add, I am using Hass.io on a Ras pie 3+ b with a 3a power supply connecting to my Conbee 2 using deCONZ from the hass.io add_on_store
I had the same issue with some eWeLink sockets. Finally stumbled on that they were recognized when I was configuring light bulbs.
My sockets are now non-dimmable light bulbs on the Conbee display and function just fine as such.
Go figure,
thankx Dixey
got them set up in the deCONZ app now, along with some bulbs but nothing shows up in HA as entities.
any ideas?
