I remember suggesting something similar for History that was implemented some time ago… the default view for Developer Tools > States lists all enabled entities. Depending on your installation, that is likely thousands of IDs, resulting in a prolonged page load. Moreover, I never care to see all entities listed together. I usually visit that page to filter to desired entities by ID, by friendly name, or sometimes by state. The filters provide all of the functionality I need.
I’d like to see the entities listed in Developer Tools > States default to none… whether it be by matching the filters in the top row (initial view has no text entered/no filters added, so no entities) or otherwise.
