i have installed this card.
problem is that lots of button aren’t working.
while main buttons like input, on/off swith and volume bar works.
when i changed the source true the regular remote control it’s becomes visible in the display.
any body hav some idea’s how to solve this.

It could help, when you tell us, what card it is, where to find it… No one can analyze it from a picture 
it’s a custom card.

Ok, I have now installed this (thank you for the tip, it looks very good).
But, I have the same problem, as you. Power, volume, zone switches and display works, but input selector and sound mode selector do not work.
I consider it a bug in the software, so I’m now creating a issue report on the GitHub.
Well, the card is not updated for two years, and I use some other things from the same makers, and there also updates are very slow. So I can imagine, that waiting for a fix would take a long time…

It is built in HA. Just go to your dashboard, add a new card “mediaplayer” and select your denon mediaplayer

Yes, i hope too. It is very well done. I would love using it.
The challenge will be : not good in programming and same here (plus lack of time and no urgency at all)
One could create a similar solution where you use a photo with ‘widgets’ on top that drive the controls / information … similar as a floorplan which shows graphical elements embedded (see multiple other posts)
On controls/info: there are a number of options on how to send/received with Denon/Marantz receivers, e.g. via cli using curl and this below doc (it is slightly scary but if motivated to dig in and trial/error you get the idea reasonably time)
For each command you would have to create something then to automate the seding/reading, probably this can be done in some sort of package but that is beyond me too.
When I read all of this, I was a bit put-off and happy that someone already created the Denon integration for me… that covers 80% of my wishes so … not moving myself much other than collecting the few data elements that the ootb integration does not provide

Sadly, it looks, the problem will not be solved soon.

i wil try to dig deeper in the configuration.
at the moment i have tryed some thing with buttons that select the sources and so on.
no have to try that to implement it in the card but where and how…???
