Denon AVR-X4500H only visible in DevTools, not exposed to Alexa

Hi folks, playing around with HA 0.105.4 on an RPi3 with DietPi (Debian Buster).
While integrations like Hue, Tado & Roomba worked quite out of the box, I’m having trouble with the denonavr integration for my X4500H.
First thing was that it wasn’t found in discovery mode. When added to the configuration.yaml, I was able to see the device in developer tools > states, but not in the “entity list”. I’m also able to add a media control card with the entity to my lovelace UI from where I can turn on/off and change sources etc.
Now to my main concern. I want to expose the receiver to Alexa for my living room control. Weirdly enough, it is shown in HA’s exposed entities list there:
denon
It does not show up in Alexa’s device list. Just for clarification: Automations, scripts & device control do work between HA & Alexa.
I somehow have the feeling that the Denon not being a classically recognized entity within HA also hampers Alexa discovery. And no, I don’t want to resort to scripts for basic controls.

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: The same is actually true for the harmony integration.

I have the same problem with my Denon X1300W. As soon as I expose it to alexa it breaks some things.

This was mentioned in another forum post: Alexa nabucasa discovery issue

The 2 PRs are already merged by I guess they are scheduled for 0.106.

Well, that’s great news then if those will fix it.

Edit: Still wondering though how the Alexa exposure can feed back to the Denon not being in the entity list.
Edit2: Okay, just read about Config Flow. Not all devices are meant to show up under Entities. Only if integrations support that.

Well, no luck on 0.106.0b1 for me at least…

Can anybody please comment who managed to expose a Denon via Alexa?
