I’m not sure what you are asking. I can see my temperature sensors in the Phoscon app, and I can control a Tradfri light in the app, but in Configuration - DeConz, I get “Entity Unavailable”. I see nothing in the DeConz log that looks like an error- I can see temperatures and humidity in the log file, but I don’t know what the units are.
Here is the top of the log:

@yan Hi Yes I am after the information for the Bluetooth Temperature and Humidy Device and weather it needs the Hub as I do Not have a hub. I am ready that you can use a Raspberry Pi bluetooth to connect to it however I cannot seem to find info for Pi 3b+
You should be able to natively add the sensor in the ZHA panel. I have several of the Xiaomi Aqara temp (and door/window) sensors. Running HA v. 0.104.2 (in docker) with a HUSBZB-1, it is as simple as pressing the button on the sensor to wake it and initiate pairing and then clicking “Add Devices” under the ZHA config section.
I have noticed problems with them dropping out, especially if the HA box reboots, but normally a few presses of the wake button gets everything synced back up.
Thanks for your help. I’ve been doing just that and it never been discovered.
The sensor is currently linked with SmartThings. Do I need to decommission the hub first or I can migrate the sensor while it’s up? Is the pairing procedure different if it’s already bind to anoTher controller?
Yes, you will need to unpair it. I think if you hold the button down for 5+ seconds, it will do a factory reset and then you should be able to pair with the HUSBZB-1.
Has anyone found a semi-reliable way to keep these from going unavailable with the HUSBZB-1? I added one of the water sensors and it hasn’t stayed connected for more than 10 hours without me having to delete and re-pair it. It is less than 10 feet from a router, and has strong RSSI and LQI numbers before it goes unavailable.
This seems to have resolved itself on my setup. I found an article for Hubitat outlining the issues with these sensors not being able to pair wait many zigbee plugs and I have one of the problem plugs. It was able to finally pair with the HUSBZB-1 and has been stable.
The Hubitat community has been through this. The solution is Ikea Tradfri plugs. The Aquara sensors pair with the Ikea plugs and are happy that way. Mine have been running fine for years with no drop offs. Don’t know what’s special about Ikea’s plugs but they work. I think you can use the Tradfri repeaters too but I’m just using the plugs since I needed them.
Yeah. That seemed to have been the consensus on their boards. Someone posted in Reddit the week I was having issues and they had linked to an article in their forum detailing the repeaters that work and those that are problems.
Is this still up to date? I am a Hubitat user, my Xiaomi zigbee sensors are working very well but I’m planning to migrate to Home Assistant and I am doing some research what needs to be done to migrate.
Is this still the best option to connect the Xiaomi sensors to HA? Other solutions?
The setup will be Hass.io on a raspberry. (today I am testing it on my Synology NAS)
