Docker CGroup1 instead of CGroup2 on PINE64 with DietPi (only dietpiENV.txt)

Hello,

my Homeassistant Supervisor installation is now supported!!! Iám happy now!

echo "extraargs=apparmor=1 security=apparmor" >> /boot/dietpiEnv.txt
sed -i -e "1 s/$/ systemd.unified_cgroup_hierarchy=0/" /boot/dietpiEnv.txt
update-initramfs -u
reboot
df -aT | grep cgroup

Good luck! Greatings from Germany!

The requirements are quite clear that only Debian itself is supported. DietPi isn’t supported.

The installer also warns that

This method is considered advanced and should only be used if one is an expert in managing a Linux operating system, Docker and networking.

See my Post. I have it now working. DietPi is an Debian 11 Bullseye System.

No, it’s based on Debian, it isn’t Debian and it isn’t supported for Supervised.

If DietPi supports KVM try the following installation method (enables a full supported HAOS installation alongside anything else DietPi supports):
