Hi, today is the day and we finally released the HA : Domintell official module !!!

Hello everyone,
I believe I have some good news for Domintell equipment users. As a member of the Domintell board and a Home Assistant enthusiast, I managed to secure a dedicated developer for the creation of an official Domintell/Home Assistant module about a month ago.

We are expecting to have a beta version ready by January 15, 2025. A small update to the master (via Goldengate) will likely be required to retrieve certain data. The module will detect the master unit(s) (DGQ02/04/05) and list the detected devices.

If you have any feature suggestions, please don’t hesitate to share them with me! I’ll keep you updated on the progress.

I’m running HomeBridge on a seperate Synology NAS, which then can be found in Home Assistant on my RPi.

Thanks for the explanation. I guess I will have to get 2 RPI’s to make it work or wait on the official domintell release.

I see that the lastest version is GoldenGate 20.16 
 any new one expected to run HA integration ?
You’ve post on linkedin about consumptions, is that plan to have some Domintell devices like DGQG05 exposing power consumption ?

Hello, thank you so much for this update. This is really the best solution we could hope for.
Which modules are planned for support? Will this be published to homeassistant or github?
As for features, it would be great if it at least supported things that domintell pilot supports. I am not sure if it is possible, but precise controll for blinds would be nice too (close 70% etc.)

Here’s the translation of your last message:

I think I have everything set up correctly. Converted the serial numbers of the modules to hex via Decimal to Hex Converter. The connection test with Hercules gave me the complete Domintell config, so that’s also okay. Yet my Domintell is not responding when I send commands. The slider switch moves to the right briefly and then returns to the left on its own after 2 seconds. The lights do not turn on. I’m using:

  • HA Core 2025.1.2
  • Supervisor 2024.12.3
  • Operating System 13.2
  • Frontend 20250109.0
    Can someone give me a hint?

My domintell master is running on an old version 1.19. Could that be the cause?

Thank you so much for your support I actually refreshed my setup today with a new DGQ04. Are you still on track for a beta release by tommorow? Will you initially release it via HACS?

Also how will the module be distributed? If you need testers I think lot of people here would like to help.

@Villersfr2 Hi is there any news on this new custom integration. I am holding off on either upgrading my master and power supply (still on a dgqg1) to use it in a hybrid setup with HA or to completely replace my domintell setup

Good evening

I contacted Domintell today to get some feedback. They were so kind to answer straight away and they want to let us know that they are still on track with the integration development process which should go into limited beta testing this month. I am sure Fréderic will keep us up-to-date when he has time.

I have a Domintell installation and upgraded to the new DGQG04 master.
Can I connect my installation to Home assistant?
I’ve sent an e-mail to Domintell support but didn’t get an anwser yet.
