Drayton Wiser Home Assistant Integration

Yeah, I was wondering if I should somehow alter the command depending on the type of the device to be paired, considering that in the app you choose the type from the list. I only have TRVs and a roomstat. Great that this will become a standard feature of the integration. Thanks again!

Just been looking at my demand and heating following the OT discussion and it does look like it is regulating to an extent after its initial 100% boost so maybe not all bad.

Hi,
I have a conventional boiler with unvented cylinder. I am trying to understand the charts below. I have encircled the entities/legend which do not make sense to me. What does each mean? why they are not synchronised?
‘Wiser Heating’ matches with the boiler and seems true ie when boiler is off the it shows off and vice versa. However the legend in the chart below ‘Wiser Central Heating heating’ does not match with ‘Wiser Heating’. Can someone explain the latter and link between the two? Thanks in advance

The circle/filled in bars are where it’s demanding heat I believe. Could be wrong.

It’s interesting seeing others settings. Do you only heat to 16C in the evening?
Also looks like it took an hour just to raise 0.5C .

Here’s mine, I assume the bars get thinner as there’s less demand ( I have modulating combi with open them)

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I have connect a new switch wifi behind my box. Since then, I can no longer connect Wiser to HA. Wiser is nevertheless well connected to the internet.

Then I tried to reinitialised the integration.

Now, when I put the IP adress, the port n° and the secret key, here is the result:
“Timed out connection. check the IP address and try again”.

Could you help me ?

I’m not sure what you mean by that, can you elaborate?

Can you see the Wiser HubR IP address in your router config page?

So I’ve pushed the button and purchased a Thermostat 2 kit in the BF sales.

My boiler (Ideal Logic Max System S) supports OpenTherm but apparently DW doesn’t for Thermostat 2 / Conventional boilers, Is this still true? Has anyone found a workaround?

If you have an OpenTherm boiler then my advice is to buy a controller that also supports OpenTherm. Wiser only supports OpenTherm with combi boilers for some reason and its been like this for years!
