DS-KD8003 - DS-KV8113 - DS-KV8213 - DS-KV6113 - DS-KV8413 and .... integration Hikvision HikConnect Video intercom doorbell

not sure what you are asking? but DTMF #1 is a SIP thing

I used TECH7Fox / Asterisk-add-on , HA-SIP, now ds-kv8113 can call home assistant ha-sip card, but can’t open the door. Is dtmf set in other places besides ha-sip card?

ah ok, makes sense now
try sending the command “#” instead of “#1

But why do you want to send a dtmf signal anyway, just remove that from the SIP card, and but your own button on it that sends the ISAPI command
advantage => you can always open the door from lovelace, the dtmf only works during call anywya

Thank you very much, I will try, I want to open the door in SIP call, ISAPI command can already open the door.

isapi can also open door during SIP call, so you dont need the dtmf in that card
but its up to you how you create the layout

When using the SIP function, if the VTO can answer automatically, it can be used as a monitoring function.

Hello everybody.

I am a new user of KD-8003. I have read that it is usable with an external SIP server.

Could this SIP server be a Fritzbox 7590?

Has anyone already done it or do I have to use a dedicated machine with Asterix / Freepbx?

probably, its just an extension, i tested with 3cx / asterisk / freepbx / fusionpbx / linhome … all working

Thanks, then try again.

I can’t register it, I don’t know if it’s because the Fritzbox is mapped to 192.168.1.1 while the DS-KD8003 network is on 192.168.5.x.

I’ll put on an Asterisk for testing, let’s see what happens.

maybe your subnet is just wrong?

I tried with a smartphone on which I installed Videofon 1.2 and it gives me connected, simply setting “Server SIP” (which I think corresponds to “Server Address” in iVMS), “ID User SIP” (= “Register User Name”) and " SIP Authentication PIN “) (=” Registration Password ").

So I believe the firewall rules of the router downstream of the Fritzbox are ok. I don’t know what other changes to make.

should be indeed quite forward, see example below

just enter extension nr , password, port … done

should be giving “registered” afterwards

you should also see an registration coming in on your SIP server normally? maybe you can see the error?

I rebuilt the configuration again. I had to respect the rules of the names and passwords that Fritzbox requires (names longer than 8 characters, not simple passwords, etc.) and this is the result. In the end it always gives me Register Status Not Registered.

I will try to see if Fritzbox has an error log but at the moment I have no idea.

Just for notification: I abandoned the PBX function of the Fritzbox, I installed an rPi with FreePBX and only after a Factory Reset of the KD8003, I was finally able to see it as Registered in the iVMS.

Never try undocumented options …

You can also run asterisk as an add-on

Thank you very much but I don’t use HA (a long time ago I chose a German software, FHEM), I follow this forum mainly for your very useful posts.

I also read you on the use-ip.co.uk forum and ipcamtalk, and one thing I still don’t understand: which is the best android app to manage the KD8003?

Although it is no longer available on the Play Store, I was happy with Videofon 1.2 because it has a simple feature: you can set a video stream URL to view it BEFORE the call. I have tried with the stream of my NVR (Blue Iris) and it works. Unfortunately Videofon 1.2 does not support G.711 audio, so it is unusable.

Before launching on paid apps or weird things on GitHub I would appreciate your opinion.

ah, so what are you doint then on this forum?

well, honostly, there is not a single app that i like!!

Hikconnect => forced to use the cloud! => if yiu add the DS8003 by IP, you loose the open door / call notifications, so its USELESS

Synology (DSCAM) => its the only app i was able to find that can activate twowayaudio , BUT on incoming call if you activate audio , it doenst work , because the speaker is in use, you need to abort the call first => USELESS (there is no LOCAL isapi command to abort the call)

PBX Apps => well, its the best option, but there s no Early media support on ringgroups , so you dont see who is at the door at incoming call => USELESS

Videofon 1.2 , thats new to me ; but if it doesnt G711, is there no source available?

There was another app, called Vphone , it was also able to include an RTSP stream
it was actually verry good, works with G711 too, the best app
Still on playstore , but not updated anymore …
Disadvantage:

  • you cant customize the ringtone => workaround, unpack APK file, incuded another mp3 =< repack apk
  • it was based on UDP background mode (battery optimalization) (no push method)

I think the best approach is LinHome (open source)
But , there is no option to include yet the RTSP stream before call, but the look and feel of that ap is briliant, perfect for door intercom systems, its compact, simple, and works
But we need a developer that an include RTSP, should be easy though, there are lots of simple rtsp clients avaible, the code must be merged, just a a few line sof code

so actually this client:

should merged in:

and that will be the perfect solution!

If you want to try Videofon 1.2 the apk is still available for download at some alternative stores.

ASAP I will try Vfone and the other solutions you pointed out to me, you opened up a world for me.
