I integrated Ecobee using the API and after a few hours the thermostat kept reading a higher temp. I pulled the unit off wall and it was hot from being interrogated from Home Assistant, so it was reading it’s own high temp. Anyone else notice the ecobee not reading temp correctly?
I’ve been running the EcoBee integration for about two years. I’ve never experienced the issue referred to. Are you sure it’s related to HA and that its not a condition that existed prior? Perhaps HA has pointed out a problem that wasn’t evident prior to monitoring the thermostat.
Have not seen this either, and I have had my ecobee since 2016. Are you sure the thermostat itself being hot is because of HA?

What API? I mean, which integration exactly you are using to bring your ecobee into your HA?
