Please can you help me?

Hello,

Probably an issue with your network or time.
Check if dns are valid in your router/firewall, try to use cloudflare 1.1.1.1.
or check if ntp will works over your network, look like you have wrong time.

Hello! Many thanks for your answer. As you can see I am no expert, I bought a home assistant in theory “plug and play” and at first I don’t go beyond step 2. And I can’t find a way to contact customer service. As little as possible, I see that the problem is in the ntp, but here I am. A question: What do you mean by “look like you have wrong time”? I insist: many thanks

Hello,
no problem don’t worry.

So your router/firewall (the box giving you internet :)) can some how block or redirect wrongly the traffic.

First try to power off, plug the ethernet cable to some different plug in the router/switch, sometimes it just works.

You posted the logs so you have access to the console.

Somebody suggested in this blog suggested :

ha dns options --servers dns://1.1.1.1
ha dns restart
network info

DNS in your whole network: you have to login to your router and see if you can change it to DNS IP to 1.1.1.1
This DNS is usually giving no problem.
NTP: if the system tries to verify SSL and time is not correct it may interrupt.
So without internet the OS cannot check “what time is it” and may stop.

Sorry but I can’t give you a procedure to check your router each router is a bit different.
I am pretty sure you can google the model and what you want to do and there is somebody that wrote down a procedure or instruction.

Same issue here: Brand new Home Assistant Green, doesn't properly install itself

Good night!
Many thanks. I’ll see if I can access the console with a monitor and keyboard. But I really don’t want to, I bought a plug and play product, and at least they should guarantee me help until the end of the installation. It’s possible that I haven’t seen the customer service, if you know where I can contact the company you would do me a favor.
I repeat, many thanks.

Hello,

sorry I don’t know the policy about the device startup.
Anyway you would need some work to get any HA device even after a plug and play experience, like creating dashboard, adding devices and so on. I mean this is a bit also in the essence of Home Assistant, it is a tool in your hands and under your control.

Anyhow I believe you should try to find out about the policy on the website.

On the other end if the issue is the router, firewall or Internet provider it is difficult to solve without any action from your side meaning that if the green is not faulty and the problem is outside the box it can’t be solved by HA.

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your collaboration.
I am more or less aware of what Home Assistant is. But regarding the installation, the house that sells you the Home Assistant Green, has to help you, even if the problem is with the router. If you sell something, you have to have at least some customer service.
Finally - I think - I have obtained an email address, to which I have directed my problem, tomorrow the first working day I will see if they answer me.
And about the problem being with the router, which I think is going on here, it is very specific to this system. Since I have connected via WLAN, a camera system, a DECO wifi repeater system, and none of them have given the slightest problem and via wifi many systems none give problems. But I am convinced that in the end we will find the problem.
I insist, thank you.
Cordially
Eduard Marco

Hello!
At the end of the home assistant green installation website, there is a support address: [email protected] [email protected];
With my nerves I didn’t go to the end of the page, in my download I will say that they directed you to the Chat.
To fix the error they send me to the page:
Resetting the device using an SD card.
I’ll try it tomorrow: I’ll say something in the chat.
Good night.
