Well, the M5Stack ATOM echo was sold out 
, so I tried another hardware combination, and I am so excited 
. My new custom component even works with the new esphome based voice assistant. Now I will build some displays to act as a status display and a voice assistant around the house.

The custom component is in a beta state, but mostly ready to use. For the recognition of text, I use my nabucasa subscription, which is worth each penny!
