Clear your browser cache and refresh (CTRL-F5 in chrome). Do not enter anything just press submit.
I’ve got an error message when trying to add the repository
Is there a missing component on my installation or what is the reason?
Thaks for help
CTRL F5 does not change anything unfortanelly…
After a few times it worked!
@LC4_4_fun you are using the wrong url for the integration repository. The url you are using is for the firmware on the device.
USE
https://github.com/rstrouse/ESPSomfy-RTS-HA
I updated everything to 2.2.3 and now i see some errors in logs:
Unable to prepare setup for platform ‘espsomfy_rts.switch’: Platform not found (Exception importing custom_components.espsomfy_rts.switch).
07:11:27 – (FOUT) setup.py
Unexpected exception importing platform custom_components.espsomfy_rts.switch
07:11:27 – (FOUT) loader.py
everything works fine so far as I can see. What to do?
Which version of the plugin are you using? Please go to HACS and update to the latest version. Then restart HA. This looks like an issue that existed a couple of versions back where it was unable to create.the sun sensor switches or binary lights.
Thanks. But I had al ready the latest versions of everything. i rebooted again and it seems to be disappeared
New problem.
I get a mesage there was ne firmware trough HA.
Tried to ipdate it within HA but it crashed at 71%.
So I have don it manualy with ESPhome to firmware 2.3.0 and no problems so far.
when I look in HA there is new hardware found the ESPSomfyRTS but I can not configure it?
Also lost my zonnescherm entity :
And I can not connect my RTS again, tried to switch TX an RX no difference, the signals I can see in the log but it doesn’t connect.
What I am doing wrong?
Thanks and greetings,
Erik
Please submit an issue on the github repository. Also check to see if you have updated the HACS component. Not sure where those battery sensors are coming from unless that is some other integration. ESPSomfy RTS does not report that.
Thnx I will make an isseu, the battery is from another screen that is not connect to ESPSomfy but only the missing identity.
What do you mean with the HACS component update?
Thanks and greetings,
Erik
I am referring to the integration component installed from HACS or are you using MQTT auto discovery?
Stock HA no MQTT
A littlebit further, removed al old integration, put a new one in and it is working in HA now.
Still the problem wit connecting to the Somfy motor
Solved !!
Had to put the Transmit power to 7 and now itis working!
Thanks for the help
Good morning,
already the espsomfy rts tool is great, what work!!!
I have a little problem, I applied my flaps with the wrong procedure, the physical command no longer has any effect on my motors, simply seen in the esp log. Is there a way to get the physical controls working again without resetting?
Thanks a lot
Freddy
Do you have a backup file generated from ESP Somfy RTS. If you do restore that file. If the rolling codes are still in sync it will start working again.
If you used the same address as the remote then I am afraid you will need to reset your motors.
I don’t have any files or I don’t know where
I think I used the same address, I took the wrong procedure, I didn’t see the other one…
