released a new version to get benefit of core rtsp to web integration, this is supposed to fix some codec issues some users are facing. moreover, new devices are being supported.

Hey @anon63427907, is there a way to manually override which devices support rtsp? I recently was able to enable rtsp on my doorbell (via an APK file hack found at https://www.reddit.com/r/EufyCam/comments/nal27f/enabling_rtsp_on_battery_doorbell/) and wanted to see if there was a way to actually use it in HA.
Also, even with the rtsp hack, the battery doorbell doesnāt allow continuous recording, so I wasnāt sure if your add-on or @bropatās client was responsible for āwakingā the device to start the stream. I imagine itād need to be same process as other battery devices (such as the 2c pro, etc.)
1- currently, there is no way to override it also highly doubt if it would play well with add-on.
2- why donāt you engage with @bropat to integrate this feature into eufy-security-ws?
3- i donāt have doorbell but starting a p2p stream should wake it up, right?
Sorry, Iām not very familiar with the responsibilities of each application/codebase involved in this whole setup, so I wasnāt sure who controlled which type of connection to fetch (rtsp vs p2p). I can reach out to Bropat to see if itās something theyād be willing to look into (given itās a very hacky way to even get rtsp support). Thanks for the quick response regardless!

By the way, even though my 2c cameras support rtsp, i prefer p2p streaming as it doesnāt have 3 minutes limitation and faster to initialize.
Weird, Iāve had a much worse experience with p2p on my 2c camera (20-30 seconds initialization, artifacts, loading spinner appearing every second, etc.) It has been a long time since I originally set everything up, so perhaps Iāve missed out on some new developments (currently using AlexxITās WebRTC component with the RTSP Simple Server configured for 2 seconds video analysis).
Give it a try with p2p with low streaming quality settings and update back here
Heh, same exact results with it set to low video quality (at least 30 seconds to start, and a loading spinner every second, although the video does play pretty fine behind it)
Been ages since iāve set it up too, will need to reread all stuff to be sure the best option p2p/rtsp is set up hereā¦
Hi, Iāve hit a brick wall.
Iāve got the intergration installed and checking the log it connects to the homebase

But i canāt seem to get any devices to show up. I have a 2k doorbell and a 2C camera. Iām not sure what iāve not done.
Has anyone done a youtube guide on setting this up?

i have the same setup i get connection to HA but want to put them in homekit! Did you installed the eufy_security under integrations also?
Did manage to get the doorbell in homekit now 
only thing whats not working is Notificationās from doorbellā¦
With my arlo doorbell a notification and live view is showing on apple tv when somebody presses the doorbellā¦ with the eufy doorbell this is not working? Somebody managed to get this working?

I donāt have a doorbell, but did you configured the ālinked_doorbell_sensorā in HA under homekit - entity_config in the configuration.yaml?

Sorry guys, but Iām too dumb to turn on the āscheduleā mode (Guard Mode 2). How can I do that?
Where do I set the option āalarm_guard_scheduleā? In the Eufy app the schedule is set. Can someone please give me a hint?

a) you are not dumb! and b) you cannot. The integration is made with the idea that you create the schedule in HA yourself. Eufyās āscheduleā is in essense not really a mode, despite being presented like that in the interface. Itās just a time-schedule to turn different modes on and off at specific times. You need to create it in HA yourself.
