My setup was broken after the latest local tuya update. I fixed it by updating all the presets to lowercase.

how it was:

PRESET_SETS = {
    "Manual/Holiday/Program": {
        PRESET_AWAY: "Holiday",
        PRESET_HOME: "Program",
        PRESET_NONE: "Manual",
    },
    "low/mid/high/off": {
        "Off": "off",
        "Low": "low",
        "Mid": "mid",
        "High": "high",
    },
}

How it should be:

PRESET_SETS = {
    "Manual/Holiday/Program": {
        PRESET_AWAY: "Holiday",
        PRESET_HOME: "Program",
        PRESET_NONE: "Manual",

}

Do a restart of HA after changing the code in climate.py.
If still not working, configure your device again in local tuya. In the past, I had to set the value again for “Presets DP”. In my setup, the value is: 5.

Hi, guys,
I’m really new to home assistant and would like to configure my Eurom alutherm 2500 wifi in my HA.
I managed to configure it on Tuya smart and import it into my HA.
I’ve searched for the Climate.py file but I can’t find it anywhere…!

I think I’m using the wrong TUYALOCAl protocol but tuya cloud…

First you need to install HACS: User documentation - HACS
In HACS, you can install local tuya. After installing local tuya, you can add your heater in local tuya. After adding your heater, the climate.py file is located in the config folder of HA → custom_components → localtuya → climate.py

Hey… I have the Eruom Alutherm Heater 1500 wifi.
No matter what I try as configuration settings, as soon as I press submit I get the notification that the device became unknown in Home Assistant.

Never even got the climate settings shown up.
When I start the Add device entry it picks up the device with the correct IP address but stuck after submit.

Any pointers?
