EZVIZ Cameras RTSP Stream Not Working

Got my DB1 Pro working! With a tip from here Ezviz Disables RTPS for its IP Cameras, Here is the fix! | IP Cam Talk. Basically, seems like you can use some HikVision app (Windows for me, though seems there is a mac version available) to configure the camera and re-enable RTSP.

  1. Download and install iVMS-4200 iVMS-4200 V3.11.1.6 & 4200 AC V1.11.0.5 - Software - Hikvision
  2. I had to create an account
  3. Add your camera - for me, it found my DB1 Pro on the network where the Ezviz Studio did not. Usual creds to get the LAN live viewing through Android worked to get me access
  4. You can then access the camera settings via ‘Remote Configuration’, go to Network → NAT. It all looked correct for me, but I have seen people saying that re-entering the same details fixed the problem. So I disabled ‘Enable UPnP’ and saved, re-typed in the RTSP port of 554 and saved, then re-enabled ‘Enable UPnP’ and saved

I could then setup the camera in HomeAssistant and can access the feed via VLC (rtsp://admin:[PASSWORD]@192.168.XXX.XXX:554/Streaming/Channels/101)

I’m definitely turning off auto-update!

Care to give a screenshot of the Advanced setting ? I changed my config file, but there is nothing under All devices

is this the solution for what @williewalvis shared? i have a similar issue as @williewalvis , i see half screen with green mask, but 1/2 camera has the problem.

Has anyone come up with any solution to this 330007 error issue that’s now 20 months old?
It’s ridiculous too that EZVIZ doesn’t even appear to supply a list of their error codes. I can’t find them anywhere!

Did you integrate it locally in the end?

Ezviz Studio software. By making a modification to a *.ini file, you can enable advanced configuration when you restart the program.
Opening that configuration automatically enables RTSP without doing anything else.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Ezviz Studio\config\AppConfig.ini

Edit file and insert this code:

[LocalOperation]
Show=1

3)Save the file in another folder and move with admin rules

4)Open de software and go to the config camera
5)Open Adcanced config

RSTP is activated

This doesn’t work anymore. At least on C3A

Hi, no I don’t. I use it in ezviz app only.

Version of EZVIZ Studio?
I’m trying with 2.1.6 and 2.5.1, not appear “Remote configuration” with modified .ini

Model: CS-HP2
Firmware: v5.4.0 build 241017

Is EZVIZ removing the RTSP option generally in all new firmware?

Hi,
any updated method to activate RTSP?

I figured out through this blog to turn on the RTSP. That gave me a still picture through OBS. On the OBS software, I had to change the Change the “Network Caching” to 2000ms or higher. Then I was live streaming with YouTube.
Thank you for all your help!

Does anyone know if these problems still exist? I would like to buy a DP2C and I would like to know if it integrates with Home Assistant via RTSP. Would anyone know how to inform?

Yep, the problems are still there. I have a few different models, and all of them have lost their streams to HA. I’d recommend staying away from Ezviz. I’ve also submitted some tickets, but they’re no longer responding. It feels like they’ve basically stolen my cameras.

Any new work arounds or downgrades? I had to factory reset my DB1 recently and ended up losing my rtsp stream. Tried the EZVIZ studio trick and no luck, also nothing in iVMS 4200. It’s crazy how one day it’s working fine and the next day the feature is gone. Makes we want to just bite the bullet and upgrade to something else.

Does it work for the eb3 or eb5?

No fix for this yet?

No solution, I have returned the device.

Turn off your VPN of your phone, then you can fix this issue.
