Feature Request: BACnetIP/BACnetMSTP

Hi!

I’d like to fill in a feature request for BACnetIP and BACnet MSTP (RS485).

It’ll be a nice addition to HA to read and write BACnet objects in DDC’s/PLC’s.

BACnet Devices have to be accessible based on DOI in the case of BACnet MSTP and DOI and IP in the case of BACnetIP.

Since there is a wide range of industrial standardisation based on BACnet (analog and digital in and outputs) it’ll be a very good addition to HA. Maybe there can be a sort of BACnet to MQTT intergration just like Zigbee2MQTT.

Hi, Will there be future or is there now support for BACnet protocol? Protocol has two flavors, Can be a BACNet/IP or can be RS485 Serial. This protocol is widely accepted as the norm for automation systems and open hardware. It is an open protocol, and was surprised to see that Modbus was available but not BACNet. Thanks.
