Thanks for the tip! I’ve been using my Friedrich Uni-Fit A/C in the FriedrichGO app for years and have been looking for a way to control it using HA. Your suggestion worked and building off of this workaround: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/tuya-integration-showing-wrong-target-temp-on-climate-card/631641 I was able to get my Uni-Fit A/C into HA with correct temperature values!
It uses a generic thermostat to display the corrected values so it isn’t perfect. It only supports “off & cool”. There’s no support for Eco Mode (which I use almost exclusively). And, the 2 thermostats need to be in sync so sometimes there’s a double-beep. Overall, it works well enough. Maybe Tuya will fix the Double Fahrenheit problem someday (but I’m not holding my breath).
