I had this same issue, do you have android TV enabled?
Also if you look at the notification history do you see the “timeout” element.
@SgtBatten what is the timeout element meant to do, notifications on my android TV seem to timeout without that set and notifications on my andoid phone do timeout when that’s set. I think it might be related to Android 15 update but might be worth removing that.
Sticky notifications didn’t override the timeout for me.
Any plans to add pushover as an option?
Scratch that, I reconfigured for a different device and notifications are persistent now. Thanks
What version of the blueprint are you on
No but happy to approve working pull requests.
0.14.0.1g from the frigate 14 branch
Please update and confirm it’s still happening.
Hello @SgtBatten first of all thanks a lot for this blueprint. I just got started with frigate and your blueprint is making notifications very easy.
Issue:
I’m on iphone 14 pro (ios 18.2). I have latest 2024 home assistant running. For some reason, the action buttons dont show up on iOS after long pressing for frigate notifications. Even clicking on the notification does not play the clip, it merely takes me to lovelace. Any ideas?
I don’t have any iOS device to test sorry. I’m not sure what would cause that.
Regarding the clip, check your base url
I am using duckdns and I did change baseurl to:
https://myhablah.duckdns.org:8123
Hope that’s correct!
Thanks for your reply though. I will keep looking.
Looks good now, no dups. Not seeing the “was” notifications but I’m okay with that.
Hey @SgtBatten, is there an older version of the blueprint that was tested to work on iOS? I am thinking perhaps 0.12.0.6 blueprint is not working correctly, but hopefully an older version is?
Follow up: How do I import an older version of the blueprint on home assistant?
Looks like there is indeed some breaking change in the latest blueprint.
This one is working for me on iOS with snapshots/thumbnails: v0.12.0.4
What’s not working.
Notifications do get sent but thumbnails/snapshot/clip is not included in the iOS notifications when using the latest blueprint. I did change the baseurl too.
Same automation works if it derives off of .4 version.
Did you try a fresh automation or only an existing one?
Fresh automation after importing .4 blueprint.
I meant with the latest
Yes had tried brand new automation with the latest one
