There are already quite some google integration so I guess it will not be hard work to add another one.
It would be cool if we would have access to the peoples api of Google.
By doing that we would have access to all Google Contacts and we could do things like:
Send a message to your mother when you arrive home via Gmail/whatsapp/Sognall
Send a message to congratulate someone when its their birthday
etc.

I suppose thats open for discussion.
It would be nice if we would at least have the integration than we can see if people will ise it

Is Google no longer supporting CalDav?
It’s been a long time since I looked into it (and I, personally, would not trust Google for anything).

I suppose especially the break of the synchroistation of birthdays stored in google contacts with the google calendar for german users would benefit from this…
currently google is not anymore synchronising this data from contacts with the data in the calendar.
by having this integration to homeassistant one could bride the gap this way…
