Google, unable to UNLINK the Home assisant app, lots of duplicate devices now!

Sync errors is normal if you are using the NON cloud version of the Google component, seems the draft version in the simulator is limited in time…
So you need to enable the testing again on the console site

I think you need to do this process every month or something, don’t know the correct time

Android or iPhone? Did you share your home with someone?

I had to ENABLE HOMEGRAPH API again, but I never disabled it …

EDIT even after re-enabling it, still error in HASS when resync

Android, and shared with an iphone (wife)

This having trouble with google assisatnt resync

well, then my problems began
eventually i was able to unlink after a few tries, then delete all the rooms, then i was able to delete the home also

but be carefull, first unshare it on the other phone
because if you remove a home while its shared, then your shared user still sees your home, and unable to delete it, since its is missing on your account, verry strange, but this is a known issue, already have a ticket open for this with google
so my wife is stuck with 2 homes, one of her and one of me, that doesnt excist anymore

I mean I do not care about Google Resync in HASS, its not a big deal of unlinking and relinking in the GH app, just worried which is the best way

What a pain in the xxx, now I redid all from scratch, in the GH app, after clicking link to my test app, it redirects correcxtly to HASS homepage to enter user(password, I do and … I get
“couldn’t update settings check your connection”

tried 20 times, WTF

do you have home assistant app as an shortcut on your android? if yes, then you need to delete it first

it asks me if I want to add an app to the desktop, and I do NOT click on it. Now it appeared

502 bad gateway … first time I see this

maybe delete also your active tokens?

mmmhhh what/where?

Hey thanks for your help btw

if you go to your profile page in home assistant webinterface , there you see all active token sessions, maybe you need to delete the google ones

Ok, I cancelled all of them (a lot), but no, same issue

If this can help, when I type
https://xxx.duckdns.org/api/google_assistant

I get
405: Method Not Allowed

both from my internal network, or from outside my network

thats a normal message

I cancelled all my old project, so now I have just one “hassio” project-id.

In the GH app, I do have 2 old “(test) my test app” , they do not go away (projects are deleted in Google console) and the newly (and only one) created for which I gave a different name, now is
“(test) home assistant”

of course I updated my project-id in google_assistant HASS configuration. I ran out of ideas …

yes, they are deleted, but still in a deleting cache in google, it takes about 30 days, until they are really deleted and invisible fro your home app
so if you still have ghost devices of the old app, even its linked and corrupt , you need to wait about 30 days

yes received email from Google, will have to keep it 30 days, hope not all the ghost devices too.

Unfdortunately now I have a NON working google assistant integration at all …

so its not working either with your new created google project? you still having issues to link it?
