Google WiFi Configuration with Unique IDs?

How does one assign a unique id to a Google WiFi sensor?

In my sensors.yaml file, I have:

- platform: google_wifi
  host: 192.168.86.1
  name: "Google_WiFi"

But if I try to add the line “unique_id: ”, I get the following error message displayed when I check the configuration: “Invalid config for google_wifi from integration ‘sensor’ at sensor.yaml, line 18: ‘unique_id’ is an invalid option for ‘sensor.google_wifi’, check: unique id

The five sensors and their data are displayed correctly, but without the unique ID, I can’t manage their settings from the UI (such as change their names, etc.)

Don’t see that listed as a config option in the docs:

The fact that it’s such an old integration and apparently only has a whopping 22 users reporting, it probably hasn’t gotten any love from the developers for a LONG time.

Your question is confusing. Do you mean the Google WiFi entity? Do you mean sensors? Which ones? What settings do you want to manage?

If it’s an old core integration, it may not have a unique_id set-up.
You could get real clear on what you want and add a Feature Request for that to be added. Guidelines here:
