Grouped Automations in Group

In the general automation configuration panel it looks impossible when you have 100 automations.
The solution I had to take is to prefix the automations to be able to find them.

Would there be a solution to be able to group the automations visually so that a list with 100…150 automations does not appear…

This has been a long ignored feature request for many many years, let’s hope with all this frontend work going on at the moment that this is picked up by someone:

It would be very nice if we could add a group tag, or create “folders” to sort and organize the automations that are created in the front end. Maybe even add the option to sort, filter, search based on the content of the automations, like the trigger platform, or the action data.

I completely agree! This is one of the main reasons I have kept my automations in .yaml files – I have one file for each category of automation so I can find them.

Is it possible to add areas to automations? If so, that would provide some organization at least.

Maybe in Yaml but not in frontend as far as I know.
