Grouping of devices, entities, helpers, scenes, automations

Hi all,

I’m new on the forum here, been using HA for a while now and am a big fan

I do have one request though. I tried to search the forum, but since there is so much on groups, its quite hard to find if this has already been requested or not.

I would like to request a feature for grouping of devices, entities, helpers, scenes, automations, etc.
It would be so nice, since there are so many on one page.

For example, it would be great if you could group certain entities based on function or area.
Of course if you do the naming right you could use the search, but I think allowing to group entities would be very useful in organizing everything.
This extends to devices, helpers, scenes, automations and more of course.

I see that there is already a similar request for automations:

It would be very nice if we could add a group tag, or create “folders” to sort and organize the automations that are created in the front end. Maybe even add the option to sort, filter, search based on the content of the automations, like the trigger platform, or the action data.

Would be nice to extend to all items in HA as per my request
