I recently acquired two ATOM Echo Smart Speaker Development Kits. I’ve programmed both and installed in HA. During testing I’ve found response time to be very slow. Six to eight seconds pass before HA performs the command.
I’ve installed Piper, Whisper-Fast and Wyoming. I’ve also set up a local voice profile using these Add-ons. I’ve tried a few tweaks but haven’t been able to improve upon response time.
I’m running an HA Blue. This is the Odroid N2+ that HA was selling a few years back. I’m wondering if the hardware is insufficient for running VOICE or if there’s some configuration that needs to happen in order to speed up response time?
