The link works for me but I can’t install the .net on the company computer.
It’s mostly the company computer I need such a HA companion on to see if I’m in a meeting to mute “washing machine done” TTS.
This is native function of .net i cant do anything about that. you need to install latest version of dotnet not just 6.0 you need 6.0.7 and later also not that you don’t need to .NET Runtime but .NET desktop runtime. Correct link is: https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/pr/b4a17a47-2fe8-498d-b817-30ad2e23f413/00020402af25ba40990c6cc3db5cb270/windowsdesktop-runtime-6.0.8-win-x64.exe
Let me know if it is working correctly after that.
Yeah but .net is core framework of this application, but probably i think that you already have some version installed, and it is standard in these days even .NET 3.5 was and probably if you ask your it guy that you need .NET 6.0.7 Desktop Runtime he will install it without an issue since it is normally required to run multiple ewen MS application (I am IT guy my self, so i know first hand that it is common practice)
Sorry for misstypes in text i writing in hurry
I added .Net Desktop Runtime Notice to README.md
Try this version: https://github.com/GamerClassN7/HA_Desktop_Companion/releases/download/0.0.1-alfa-2/win-x64_Experimental.zip i should fufill oyur requirement it is self contained Deployment but since it is self contained it is much bigger let me know if it is working for you
You would think so yes… I currently have v4.0.30319 installed but there is no way they install anything.
The top of corporate has decided we must have Toyota forklifts with their I_Site devices/software on.
This means we need to install a software on a computer to make sure the forklifts can even start up.
No… They say no.
So all our warehouses has to have one or two computers that is bought off the shelf not connected to our network just to run this software.
It boots up. But it crashes when I try to click on the register button.
It has stopped working and it will be closed.

Just to be clear I made a long lived access token and that is in the second field, correct?
do you see new device in your HA instance ?
It look like widespread issue with nabucasa i woul need to at least see full url you filled in, from my site it is working wiht HA as expected for ruther testing i would need at leas try to call your api url
I think I found the issue.
I created a new token and it worked. I think the old token was not copied correctly because it’s like a third of the length of the new.
Now I’m at:
Do I need to add an integration or something?
Installed that but still get the same error.
I get this and a lot more in the log now.
This looks good.
