HA support for Argon iNet2+ radio

Hi! And thanks for this great product  Awesome software!

I would love to have an interface to my kitchen radio-> Argon iNet2+. Its a wifi-enabled DAB+ radio with a rather nice app for iOs and Android. (UNDOK)

With this on HA I can turn on the news in the morning while I wait for my coffe to be ready

Best regards
Trond Erik

Iā€™m looking for the same. Frontier Silicon based radios are using a simple HTTP API. This is documented here

I know next to nothing about Python so Iā€™m not able to make a component for this. Anyone else?

Same here, i would like this working. I had my hopes when installing 0.40 and the frontier silicon component. But i get error messages like this:

17-03-17 20:25:26 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.setup] Not initializing media_player.frontier_silicon because could not install dependency fsapi==0.0.7
17-03-17 20:25:26 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.setup] Unable to prepare setup for platform media_player.frontier_silicon: Could not install all requirements.

Anny ideas?

Ttry this:
sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev libxmlsec1-dev
sudo pip3 install fsapi

Did magic for me

Thank`s KjetilS, It did the magic for me also

Hi, new user here, where can i use these commands? With ssl it wont accept apt-get commands.

I just got a Argon Radio 2i - it is Frontier based. It was not self discovered, so I added a row to configure. However the only thing I get is an DLNA device - nothing more. No player or anything. Is this still usable or?
