Hey
How is the status? Did you succeed?
has anyone tried to use a stepper motor or may even a wireless actuator and control it via HA?
The tmperature can be measured using wireless sensors such as:
- A Low-Power Battery-Less Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor for the TI PaLFI Device
- XZ-TP10 Low Power Consumption Wireless Temperature Sensor-WIRELESS-TAG TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD.
- White Paper: Zero Power Wireless Sensors Using Energy Processing - WP-Zero-Power-Wireless-Sensor.pdf
- Temp. And Humidity Sensor With A CR2032 For Over 1 Year!
The challenge is to find battery-driven actuators
So far I find only DIY tutorials:
- Open-Source Thermostatic Radiator Valve (OpenTRV) - Earth Notes
- Smart Radiator Valve With Home Assistant: 8 Steps (with Pictures)
or 24V wired actuators:
Sorry to bump up an old thread, But I just noticed these 24v actuators for underfloor heating:

Has anyone tried using those for heating already?
Old thread. But if people looking for a way to include their Eqiva (non bluetooth) in HA, have a look at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlPHrdXHBTU
