HACS problem - Different interface?

Hello, please look at the attached image:

Doesn’t HACS look different? I see no Integrations, Frontend and other sections anymore…
I can’t even add any custom integration anymore. If I click on the menu, it just doesn’t do anything.

Please help on this.
Thanks!

I don’t see anything like what you’re seeing. Here’s mine running HACS 1.28.0 on HA 2022.10.1:

What version of HA are you on? If you’re on an older version and upgraded to the latest version of HACS, I think that newer HACS version requires a pretty recent HA version. That could have broken things.

Go to Settings / Devices & Services / Integrations
click on the HACS integration ‘Configure’ button and uncheck ’ Enable experimental features’
This will return your page to the way it was before the update.

Sorry but that setting change makes no difference for me, not even a restart helped. Please help

Oh and on the latest of everything, no updates showing.

Did you clear your browser cache?

yes, first thing i did, What i do find strange is a reboot of my HA worked, now it shows a new version of HACS 1.28.2. HACS is now back to normal.

Did you solve this problem?
I have removed hacs completely, removed the hacs directory in custom components, reinstalled, unchacked the experimental fetures, but I can just get that long list, and not the standard interface. Very strange

Delete browser history/cache and then restart home assistant should do the trick (you shouldnt need to reinstall HACS).

Same issue for me after installing HACS, just see a a long list…

Clearing cache, disabling experimental features & restarting Home Assist does not help

At some point the new interface will be no longer experimental, so maybe get used to it? I’ve been using it for a while, and haven’t had any problems with it. You can add new repositories in the top right three dot menu, and add the integrations from it with the button at the bottom right. What is the problem, besides it looking different?

Edit: oh wait - I think I understand the confusion now, because I too can’t add a new integration the old ways as the button is now gone… It was there in the OP’s screenshot. It seems it was changed. You just need to search and when you find the integration you need open it and there’s a download button.

If you want to see the ones you have, you can filter on the downloaded ones.

When I tried to download it was saying error loading repository… Also was unable to add new repository’s using 3 dots at top…

I’ve refreshed page on Homeassist this morning and viola I can now see what I believe I should be seeing… Not sure how this resolved itself over the weekend without me doing anything!!! But glad it’s working now

I was having the same problem. Fixed it so that it would be like what I see when watching youtube tutorials and immediately went back to experimental.

It all does not help, I just see the very long list, but not for example “Frontend”

If you are using more that one Chrome profile with different user IDs, You need to login to Home Assistant with the user ID which you are using for your Github account. This worked for me to get the HACS UI/Menu to show up

If you are using Edge on windows:

I’m setting up a new HA CORE instance because I’m moving to new hardware. The old HA is still running on the same network, behind the same internet connection.

The new HA instance (2023.11.3) is running for some time now (without any operational devices attached yet) and today I installed HACS (1.33.0), no problems so far.

But after a reboot of the entire (new) host I can only see the screen below on the new HA instance when I select HACS in the sidebar. I’m used to see the interface showing a list of Integrations, Frontend, Automation, Add-ons, About. but this is just not showing up.

After enabling debug logging I can see this when I reload HACS, nothing special is mentioned here I believe.

Same issue here, none of the above works for me. Please help. I’m on the latest version of HA and HACS at the moment.
