Hass.io Add-on: Xbox One

Does anyone know if I can use the addon? Can someone help me ?

When that repoā€™s maintainer, @ericleb010, asked if you could provide more log detail, I believe he was asking for the relevant entries in your home-assistant.log file. If you post them here, he or others may be able to help you further.

Friend, I held it. Itā€™s giving that is not compatible. What log will indicate? Dev could tell me if the addon is raspberry compatible. But so far he hasnā€™t asked for anything ā€¦ Anyway ā€¦ Iā€™ll wait ā€¦

As you can see in this thread, there are plenty of people using Raspberry Pi, including myself. So it is compatible. And yes, as Jeff mentioned, I need to see your logs to know what is going on. Without them, I canā€™t help.

Nothing else? That doesnā€™t really indicate that anything out of the ordinary happened.

Is it possible to push this addon to HACS?

No idea. My Home Assistant is decommissioned right now so I havenā€™t had any motivation to look into how to improve this add-on. Further development on this will require help from others here.

Bashing my head against the wall hereā€¦ ive tried multiple fixes but i keep running into this errorā€¦ anyone solve this?

Iā€™m seeing these in the HA log when attempting to power the xbox on.:

2019-11-07 07:58:12 ERROR (SyncWorker_15) [custom_components.xboxone.media_player] Failed to poweroff FD004A03EC4BD7AB

Seeing this in the add-on log when powering down:

Xbox does power down, but does not respond to power up from the HA UI. ubuntu 18.04 on i3 NUC, HA 101.2, Hassio add-on install.

UPDATE: Following a couple HA restarts, upgrading to 0.101.3, these errors and the On/Off issue have resolved themselves.

UPDATE2: After updating to 102.1, the add-on can no longer connect to the xbox. Back to square one.

For anyone looking for a fix for this problem you need to create the required files in a ā€œcomponentā€ folder not custom_components.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as youā€¦
Where did you put the file exactly ?

You need to put the ā€œcomponentā€ in your config directory similar to ā€œCustom_Componentsā€

That is exactly what i didā€¦ But still have the error message :

I aslo try to add a sub folder but it didnt work.
Maybe this information is important; my home assistant is running on a debian vm (so not hassio)

Hi!

I have moved my Xbox to a IoT network and allowed all trafic from Xbox to HA but access, unable to Retrieve the live ID. My XBoX app on iPad not working either even when all traffic allowed there as well.

Any ideas?

Hi guys, Im trying to install this addone but getting an error:

[hassio.docker.interface] Can't install hunterjm/hassio-armv7-xboxone:2.0.0 -> 404 Client Error: Not Found ("pull access denied for hunterjm/hassio-armv7-xboxone, repository does not exist or may require 'docker login'").

Do you know what can be the issue ?

Thx.

hi,

when Iā€™m test the configuration server after make configuration, Iā€™m obtain this error:

Platform error media_player.xboxone - Integration 'xboxone' not found.

Iā€™m use hassio method.
in my custom_components this installation make one directory name ā€œxboxoneā€ with in the file name ā€œmedia_player.pyā€.

Who I make one bug off this configuration?
