Help with "reverting" Configure UI

Hello,

I’m just starting with Hassio and I did something stupid.
I was looking around the UI and clicked on Configure UI and now the front end is not using my groups and stuff. I know it said it will not update my UI automatically anymore but I’d love to get it back to what was before.

Is there anyway to revert it back (I hope you know what I mean)? I was searching around this community but found nothing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

From dev tools, i click on use states down the bottom and set as default
Then if you delete .storage/lovelace, using lovelace again will use auto-generated (from states/groups) again.

Thank you very much, works like a charm!

Running HA 0.108.4 I had a similar issue. I tried following these steps but couldn’t find any “use states” under Dev Tools to set to Default. In the end I simply moved the config/.storage/lovelace file to a backup location and rebooted the entire Pi. When the system came up again all was working as expected.

I had followed the instructions generally suggested in this thread: Reset Lovelace

Hope this info helps.

There is no use states anymore - the states UI is depreciated.
To reset lovelace, delete the yaml file OR if you use the GUI storage mode, in the raw editor delete everything and save and it will revert to auto-generated again.
