The “Preload Stream” option is covering the Date/Time on the camera feed.
Any way to hide it?
Thanks

I have the same problem and thus the same question. This setting can be useful, but I don’t think it needs to be on display all the time. Ideally move it to the card settings?
I haven’t tried yet, but hiding the checkbox should be possible with custom CSS (via the card-mod plugin that can be installed from HACS).
Any way to hide this or at least move it to another corner?
balloob suggested a while ago to move the checkbox to somewhere else, it’s just not done yet.
See https://github.com/home-assistant/frontend/pull/6877#issuecomment-689455626
that item was closed back in 2020 so it looks like it was abandoned and forgotten.
Also looking for a way to disable the preload checkbox. In my case, I found that stream preload turns HA unstable (with the cameras I have. Hikvision, tp-link), a day or two after turning it in, the HA container crashes (badly, with core dump and all).
I’d like to disable any GUI setting for this to prevent anyone in the family from turning it on inadvertently. I still want the stream integration on to leverage the CPU savings
+1 to this. It is very annoying

Same issue with an Amcrest doorbell camera.
This would be helpful, especially for smaller screens.
+1 takes up waay too much real estate on a mobile view
+1, this Preload String is an useful setting but having it display all the time is quite annoying as it is very badly placed…
