Hikvision DS-KH9310-WTE1 & Home Assistant Android App

Hi all,

I’m choosing a video intercom and I’d like to pick one that I can use as a smart home control device.
DS-KH9310-WTE1 has Android onboard and can install external applications (like the nest app that I saw on the video presentation - Hikvision DS-KH9310—WTE1 Android based intercom indoor station - YouTube).

Does anyone has this intercom and run the Home Assistant Companion application on it?
How does it work?

If someone can recommend other intercoms or other solutions that I could potentially use please let me know.

I , I have this 9310, but it doesn’t run HA, they are equiped with android 5, low specs, no android WebView… Useless for apps

New revision of that 9310 is coming out next month, runnint android 10, where you can disable intercom and run native android 10, just wait a bit more

Look at akuvox brand, much better options

Thanks for the reply.
I didn’t find any specification of 9310, so sad it runs only android 5.
Where did you find information about the new version of 9310? Is it available online?
I’m still wondering what to buy, I have an ethernet cable in the place where the intercom will be mounted, so I’d prefer something with POE, but if I find something reasonable at a better price I might change my mind (adding an extra power cable isn’t such a big deal)

the documentation is not released yet for new indoor, i check every day

will be soon though
POE is indeed great, use it too , they run 802.3af , so you need only 2 pairs of UTP cable
date + power will work on just 2 pairs
this usefull for outdoor station too, because you use the other 2 pairs for a door relay for example

Hey Fabio, where did you find information about the new version of 9310 with android 10?
Even our supplier doesn’t knows about new versions, they have been starting with all black outdoor units though thats new too…

from our supplier
also on this page, you can see the pictures are new :

the product nr will be the same, just a revision B
it contains android 10 instead of 5 , also possible to disable intercom, and use native android on
i’m still waiting, suppliers should receive now first test device, it will be retail in 2-3 months

what black series are you talinkg about? they were already black?

Do You plan to run Home Assistant app on it? If yes, then please give us a review how everything works together and how both systems co exists.

yes, that was the idea… i have now the A model, but runs android 5 , didnt work, was way too slow
also webview was not installed
going to exchange my A model with the B model
fingers crossed

Just received it, installed apk and now working!
not verry fast, but it works without installing webview

Have you received DS-KH9510-WTE 1(B) ?

yes, setting up right now
updated firmware also to enable android booting

Do you have any new information? What did you manage to install on DS-KH9510-WTE 1(B)? How does it work?

It works better, runs indeed android 10, and WebView is preinstalled… So HA with APK worksw but if it’s worth the money… No… It’s still slow :+)

I use HA for my home and I would like to setup Dahua or Hikvision security cameras + video intercom.
Should I put an android tab or iPad on the wall and use the H.A. app + dahua/hikvision app for the intercom part (if that is possible) ?
Or is the only way to mix H.A. and intercom on a unique device, to use those recents android based indoor monitors (but if I understand correctly your last comment, they doesn’t worth their price) ?

If I was you , I would setup regular android devices as tablets, and indeed install the hikvision / dahua app on it… Or go sip road, and use the HA Lovelace sip card…

The hikvision indoor panel is expensive, and still limited

I have the same 10" hikvision andriod screen as the indoor unit. I have installed Chrome Broswer application then I can browse the home assistant
