Hello, is it possible to make a short video to see how slow it is? I’m still looking for a central screen with ha but two-way audio. And especially without battery.
hm, already deleted the app a long time ago, also it was not possible to load all cards, since the device doesnt support webview
Hi. I know it’s been a long time @pergola.fabio , but could you please elaborate as to what sort of cards did not show up on the device as a result of the absence of Webview? I’m getting one of these for my house as part of a package with my doorbell and would like to know how HA works on it. Does anyone have any sort of pictures or videos that depict just exactly how slow it is on the app? And how do I install the HA app. Does it have a play store, or did you have to sideload it using a downloaded APK? Can this be changed somehow to function as a pure android tablet and have the Hikvision app installed on it instead to make it more user friendly?
Hmm, I didn’t try anymore… My Lovelace hasa lot of declutter cards, it’s a custom card, maybe that’s why…
But the overal performance was slow, but didn’t try anymore… My idea was to install openhab on it, runs smooth, but didn’t have the time to play with openhab yet…
As for the B model, there is no play store on it, so only APK upload…
You can however, disable the launcher, it’s some kind of dialer launcher to receive calls… but if you boot to clean mode, without hikvision launcher, call is not coming in off course… You can maybe install other SIP clients om it… Although, since no play store, push will not work, so the app must be active in background…
I wouldnt go that road… I think openhab is the best alternative… There is an mqtt component, to publish all entities to openhab, so they are in sync
By overall performance, do you mean that the indoor station was entirely slow as a whole? Or is the Home Assistant app on the device slow? Do you have any images? And off topic, do you know how many indoor stations can be connected to a Hikvision DS-KV6113 video doorbell?
Hmm, I have the 8003, I only use one indoor, and several indoor extensions, so can’t tell
Well, HA was slow to open, didn’t test other apps yet
Finally got Lovelace running smoothly on DS-KH9510-WTE1 (1st edition)
I’ve installed Firefox addon on my HAOS (ha-addons/firefox at main · Mincka/ha-addons · GitHub) and configured it to open HA in kiosk mode. Put AVNC client on KH9510. (GitHub - gujjwal00/avnc: VNC Client for Android) V2.3.1 works well with some fine tuning of parameters. Tried with many VNC clients but only this combo works to my satisfaction. Hope someone may find some use of it as well.
Maybe you can post the parameters to have a good setup?
I also see release 2.4.0 and 2.4.1, what’s wrong with those clients?
I have to check again, after experimenting with many possible clients the touchscreen was not responding in 2.4.0. I will try again with the last AVNC in the afternoon.
i just tested the new debug one, it works great now, it auto starts the vnc connection
what resoltion did you have setup for the addon ?
Well, I have tested the debug version now. Works right to my expectations. To my liking, I have set 1280x720 resolution and zoom in AVNC to fit the screen. This makes image a bit blurry but it does fit more elements on the screen. To my knowledge, Lovelace custom scaling has not been implemented yet.
ah ok, i can try that
the only problem that i see, the addon is quite CPU/MEM hungry, while idle, it still needs 10-20 % cpu
I’m using NUC11 i5 and CPU load is below 1%.
Its an overkill for HAOS but I am running Plex as addon…
Hey, I stumbled on “homehabit” , you can find it on play store, it does have an HA integration to make a dashboard with entities, looking great!! It even has a remote admin, so you can create the dashboard from your laptop!!!
I installed also chrome on the 9310, since the built-in browser doesn’t load the HA website, it’s needed 1 time to make homehabit connect to your HA for the auth

Thank you very much @urbanbur
Urban Burnik for me runs Firefox addon on my HAOS (ha-addons/firefox at main · Mincka/ha-addons · GitHub 6) which starts HA in kiosk mode. I installed the AVNC client on KH9510 Version B. (GitHub - gujjwal00/avnc: VNC Client for Android ) V2.4.1 and set it so that it connects automatically.
